Warbride – Melodic Metal
Back in the late ’80’s I moved out to Los Angeles to become a rock star. 
I was involved in two different bands as the frontperson while I was there, The Charm School Dropouts and Warbride.
Warbride was an all-girl band, our sound was what founder and guitar player Lori Linstruth called ‘female melodic metal.’ We were all about being big–big sound, big hair. Years later this suburban mommy decided she was going to Google ‘Warbride’ just to see if anything was written about us. I was very surprised to find that there was a Warbride.net! I was thrilled to see that Lori was behind it and before long she had talked me into working with her on a new Warbride project. With Lori living in Sweden, the two of us worked together with thousands of miles between us–recording music and vocals in our own studios and sending files back and forth. Skype was definitely our friend.
We currently have a website but unfortunately the project seems to be on permanent hold. I’m hoping it can be resurrected in the future! Check out the website or click below to hear sound clips of our songs:

Needing to find the perfect theme song for my own podcast made me realize that nothing would be better than if I wrote my own. Once I got this going I couldn’t stop writing little ditties, and decided that maybe I’d offer them up for people to download for their own podcasts or other media uses. Here are some examples:
